The electromagnetic spectrum is the invisible front line of modern warfare. Unsecured communications or detectable electronic signatures inevitably invite rapid kinetic strikes. Operating a multitude of uncrewed and communication systems without stringent spectrum deconfliction guarantees fratricide and mission failure. Dominating this domain is no longer an optional advantage; it is a fundamental prerequisite for unit survival on the battlefield.

Training Focus

This capability development programme transforms complex radiophysics into practical, life-saving battlefield solutions. The military school delivers deep, engineering-level preparation for brigade and battalion communications officers (S6) and specialists. Military personnel master the deployment of digital networks (DMR), IP architectures, and satellite systems, alongside the tactical employment of SIGINT and EW. The focus is on the capability to maintain secure friendly command and control while denying the same to the adversary under severe jamming conditions.

Tactical Military Communications

Course Goal

Ensuring resilient unit command and control requires reliable tactical networks capable of operating amidst active electronic countermeasures. This capability development programme prepares military communications specialists. Military personnel master the deployment of DMR standard radio equipment, repeater configuration via IP networks, radio coverage simulation, and antenna-feeder installation. Graduates are capable of independently deploying and maintaining secure wired and wireless networks, conducting equipment diagnostics, and guaranteeing uninterrupted data exchange at the tactical level.

Radiomanagement

Target AudienceSignal personnel with experience working with Motorola DMR radios.

Course Goal

This course is for signal personnel responsible for large numbers of Motorola DMR radios. It provides practical skills for working with MOTOTRBO DP, DM and R7 series radios: programming and inventory management, working with codeplugs and firmware, applying encryption keys, and configuring radios for IP networks. Goal: to prepare participants for centralized management of radios within a unit, including programming, updates, communications security and inventory management. Duration: 1 training day (3 hours of lectures, 5 hours of practice).
