Training of 311 SSTS Servicemen in Practical Psychology

Since September 2025, the Boryviter Military School has trained 311 servicemen of the State Special Transport Service (SSTS) in the field of psychological support. The primary outcome of this cooperation: 46 officers from psychological support structures completed the full "Practical Psychology" course, and an additional 265 servicemen underwent training under the adaptation program. The training is aimed at developing the capacity of the units within the "East" Regional Command.

The foundation of the course is the application of precise algorithms to resolve real-world problems during active service. To manage combat stress and crisis states, the trainees mastered the TRiM protocol, basic clinical diagnostics of mental disorders, and tools for identifying suicidal behavior and preventing addictions. Practicing these skills directly enhances the effectiveness of officers during unit combat coordination and mission execution.

An indicator of the effectiveness of the implemented algorithms was an award from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which SSTS representatives presented to Boryviter psychologist Mykola Kozhukharenko. The systematic training of psychology officers enables the formation of a resilient professional environment and the timely restoration of personnel readiness for further operations.
