Boryviter Military School Receives Ministry of Defense Certification for UAV Crew Training

Boryviter has received official certification from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Effective immediately, graduates of the school's unmanned systems program are awarded Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) No. 216 upon passing their examination. This enhances unit capabilities by allowing servicemembers to officially hold authorized positions in UAV crews within the Defense Forces.

The certification was conducted under a government project (Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 1129) aimed at standardizing training. The evaluation of cadets' performance, their combat coordination, and their mastery of target engagement algorithms is conducted during the final examination with the participation of representatives from state training centers.

The official awarding of MOS No. 216 is available upon the successful completion of four Boryviter programs:

  • Employment of civilian multirotor UAVs in military environments (advanced level);
  • Multirotor FPV kamikaze drones (basic course);
  • Fundamentals of employing fixed-wing UAVs in military environments;
  • Employment of fixed-wing strike UAS.
