In October, Boryviter Military School trained 973 service members of the Defense Forces and received certification from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The school now holds state recognition for training UAV crews. Upon passing the examination, graduates receive Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) No. 216, which directly impacts the speed of unit manning.
Personnel training was conducted in the following areas:
- Employment of UAVs and FPVs (multi-rotor and fixed-wing types) — 362 cadets;
- Psychological training and support — 335 service members;
- Study and implementation of experience (Lessons Learned) — 121 cadets;
- Military command and control, communications, and situational awareness systems (ComBat Vision) — 109 cadets;
- Military topography — 46 cadets.
To increase target engagement effectiveness, Boryviter introduced a new training program on payload delivery and release (for DJI Mavic 3, Air 2, Autel EVO 2 PRO). Practicing release algorithms allows crews to minimize safety errors under combat conditions. Concurrently, the analytical department presented a study on basic combined arms training aimed at optimizing the processes of combat coordination within units.
The expansion of the school's capabilities is made possible through the financial support of partners. KPMG in Ukraine provided financial backing to ensure cadet training. In collaboration with Vyriy Drone, training on machine vision-based terminal guidance algorithms has been integrated, which increases engagement accuracy. Eva.ua provided material and technical support for the FPV program. The sustainable development of capabilities is also ensured by the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation, ZMIN Foundation, Astarta-Kyiv, Avrora, Djinni, Uklon, and other specialized partners.
