Opportunities for Ukraine
The European Security and Defence College brings together over 100 leading civilian and military educational institutions, as well as other organizations working in the field of security and defense policy across Europe. For Ukraine, this collaboration presents unique opportunities:
- Access to high-quality education for military and civilian professionals,
- Implementation of European standards in the security and defense sector,
- Expansion of cooperation between Ukrainian and European educational institutions.
“For Boryviter, serving as the official representative of the European Security and Defence College in Ukraine provides the opportunity to coordinate high-quality training. As a non-governmental organization, we are deeply committed to ensuring that veterans, military personnel, and representatives of the security and defense sector can attend specialized courses at European defense institutions and return to Ukraine with enhanced knowledge and skills for more effective work in strengthening the security and defense forces.
Moreover, fostering close communication with Ukrainian defense universities, which are also associated partners of ESDC, is of great value to us. Together, we can work to make defense education in Ukraine more professional, of higher quality, and aligned with European standards,” emphasized Tetiana Ostra, co-founder of Boryviter and official ESDC representative in Ukraine.
