Multirotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicles
The Training Program Multirotor Unmanned Aerial Vehicles encompasses the training of military personnel on the safe and effective use of all “civilian” drones available in Ukraine in combat environment. Since the beginning of a full-scale war, the use of such UAVs for combat missions (aerial reconnaissance/artillery fire adjustment/dropping) very quickly became an integral capability of the Defense Forces. Taking into account the innovativeness and high dynamics of technological development in this field, the school uses methodological approach to the development of training programs and constantly updates the contents of the courses based on the current experience of using UAVs at the front. We train operators of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Territorial Defense, National Guard of Ukraine, National Police, Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Security Service of Ukraine, State Emergency Service of Ukraine, State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and other defense agencies and organizations.
The training contributes to the prevention of accidental losses of vehicles, and most importantly – prevents the loss of lives of Soldiers due to compliance with the safety rules for the use of drones, correct entry and exit from combat positions, coordinated work of the pilot and operator, and rapid tracking of the actions and movements of the enemy.
The school has an R&D site for testing, manufacturing, and improving technologies related to the aero sphere. For example, our instructors carry out reengineering of aeroscopes, improving and testing remote antennas and amplifiers, look for and test technological solutions for “hacking” and anonymizing drones, and work on countering the enemy UAVs.
The Program consists of two training courses:
- Use of civilian multirotor UAVs in military environment
- Use of DJI Matrice 300 in military environment
