Boryviter Joins the Network of the European Security and Defence College
The partnership will enable the provision of high-quality European training to enhance the professionalism of Ukrainian military personnel, Ministry of Defense employees, and other structures involved in the security and defense sector.
Joining the ESDC means that Boryviter is now part of a network of over 100 leading civilian and military institutes, colleges, academies, universities, and other institutions focused on security and defense policy in Europe and beyond. Members of the ESDC include prestigious institutions such as the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) in Switzerland, the UK Defence Academy, the Institute for Advanced National Defence Studies (IHEDN) in France, the Centre for Advanced Studies in Defence (CASD) in Italy, and the Federal Academy for Security Policy (BAKS) in Germany.
“Our main goal now is to leverage the full power of this network and the best educational institutions to direct it toward the Ukrainian defense sector, as well as veterans who wish to continue contributing to Ukraine’s defense in military or civilian structures,” said Orest Bilous, the CEO of the organization.
Boryviter’s team of instructors and analysts has already begun working on adapting existing programs and developing new ones in line with ESDC policies and standards.
“In addition to launching new educational programs with military institutions within the ESDC network according to EU standards, Boryviter also gains the opportunity to involve Ukrainian military personnel in training abroad. This is yet another important step in the development of professional military education for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in enhancing compatibility with EU military structures,” noted Tetiana Ostra, Co-founder of Boryviter.
The joining of Boryviter to the ESDC was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, particularly former Deputy Minister Stanislav Haider, who actively supports fostering close ties with public organizations and international partners.
“The inclusion of the Boryviter Center of Excellence as an Associate Network Partner is an important step in deepening cooperation between the European Security and Defence College and its Ukrainian partners. We fully support this initiative and are confident that this new partnership will enhance educational opportunities for Ukrainian citizens in the field of security and defence,” stated a representative of the European Security and Defence College.
