Boryviter was certificated by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine
On October 25, 2024,the Boryviter Military School achieved official certification from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, officially recognizing it as an institution that trains UAV operators and crew members.
This certification process is a part of an experimental project to certify private UAV schools, approved by a Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine resolution dated October 1, 2024, No. 1129. The initiative aims to increase the number of specialists trained within Ukraine and to improve training quality in private schools, as certified organizations are required to meet specific criteria set by the Ministry of Defense.
Certificates awarded by the Boryviter Military School upon successful completion of the final exam provide the right to obtain Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) No. 216 (UAV External Crew Members). This applies to the following training programs:
- Operating Civilian Multirotor UAVs in Military environment – advanced course;
- Fundamentals of operating FPV drones for combat missions;
- Fundamentals of operating fixed-wing UAVs in combat environment;
- Operating fixed-wing type strike UAVs.
The decision to grant a military occupational specialty is made by training center representatives invited to the school’s final exam, based on an assessment by Boryviter specialists of the cadets’ knowledge and skills.
Successfully completing the course and obtaining the certificate affirms a service member’s authorization to operate UAVs and qualifies them, in the future, for related roles within the Security and Defense Forces.
This certification marks a significant milestone for the Boryviter Military School, highlighting the exceptional quality of training offered and bolstering the advancement of unmanned systems within the Defense Forces.
