NATO Lessons Learned Conference 2024
Boryviter, along with a delegation from the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, represented Ukraine at the NATO Lessons Learned Conference 2024 (NLLC24) in Portugal.
The event brought together 280 representatives from NATO countries and other partner nations. During two main and two additional days of the conference, participants discussed capability development, digital transformation in Lessons Learned, interoperability and knowledge sharing among NATO countries and key partners, as well as the effective implementation of lessons learned.
Boryviter representatives had the honor of joining the discussions and sharing their experience in applying Lessons Learned both before the full-scale war and during its various phases. They explained how the methodology is utilized in a dynamic and evolving environment and why Ukraine’s experience is exceptionally valuable to the world today.
“The world is now witnessing, in real-time, the first-ever large-scale deployment of unmanned systems in the air, at sea, and on land. Correspondingly, electronic warfare systems are advancing rapidly. At the same time, sensors tracking massive missile attacks on Ukrainian territory are producing terabytes of data for analysis. These are unique data sets that require continuous adjustments to planning during the war,” said the Head of the Analytical Department of Boryviter during a speech at NLLC24.
We are grateful to our international partners for their support in mastering the methodology of learning and implementing experience, as well as for sharing best practices in fostering a Lessons Learned culture within the military.
Our thanks go to the NATO Joint Analysis Lessons Learned Centre for the opportunity to speak at the conference, join discussions, and gain valuable insights. In a total war, Lessons Learned must be total!
