Practical Psychology
3 weeks

Duration of training programs

Format: interactive lectures, case analysis, technique practice, group work
Participants: up to 25 people

Goal: The program is designed for military psychologists who want to acquire practical tools for working with personnel, from diagnostics to crisis intervention.
After completing the course, participants gain practical skills in counseling, psychoeducation, and prevention of combat-related trauma.

Key topics:

  • Psychophysiology of stress, combat stress, psychological first aid (iCover)
  • CBT techniques and effective counseling methods
  • Identity and the warrior’s path: adaptation to new roles
  • Guilt, grief, trauma, post-traumatic growth
  • TRiM, debriefing, AAR, motivation, conflict resolution
  • Working with family relationships, suicidal behavior, and addictions

Leadership and Fundamentals of Psychology
10 days

Duration of training programs

Target audience: sergeants, junior officers, command staff, psychological services
Goal: development of leadership competencies, communication, motivation, and stress management.

After training, commanders will be able to communicate, motivate, support, and unite their units more effectively in combat conditions.

Key topics:

  • Fundamentals of military leadership, ethics, and moral values
    Psychological resilience, assessment of subordinates’ condition
    Emotional intelligence, motivation of subordinates (SCARF model)
  • Conflict resolution, communication
  • Building combat-ready teams, mentorship, and AAR
  • Working with loss, guilt, and the “guilt pie”

Combat Stress and Psychological First Aid
3-6 hours

Format: one-day training (upon request)

Audience: service members during combat readiness recovery, adaptation, or rehabilitation periods

Goal: to teach participants to recognize, manage, and reduce manifestations of stress, as well as to provide psychological first aid to comrades.

Results:
Participants understand the mechanisms of stress, master basic self-regulation and relaxation techniques, and can stabilize others in crisis situations.

Psychological Recovery Program
1-3 days

Duration of training programs

Apply

Participants: 15–30 people
Audience: service members returning from combat zones

Goal: to relieve tension, stabilize the psycho-emotional state, and prepare participants for returning to family and civilian life.

Main components:

  • Psychoeducation
  • Assessment of physical and emotional state
  • Grounding, relaxation, and discharge exercises
  • Art therapy, team-building games, and cohesion activities

Conducted: 2–3 days after unit withdrawal.
Result: harmonization of the state, prevention of adaptation disorders, and reduction of distress levels.

Working with Personnel During the Adaptation Period

Format: training for instructors during the first week after mobilization.

Goal: to help mobilized personnel adapt faster, understand their role, choice, and direction of development in the military.

Main modules:

  • Self-awareness in war: roles and decisions
  • Military service areas (UAVs, communications, engineering, logistics, etc.)
  • Psychology of service: motivation, crises, camaraderie
  • Career development: sergeant/officer paths
  • Questionnaire “Where do I fit best?”
  • Growth mistakes, leadership, and authority
  • Visual materials, schemes, and practical exercises

Result: instructors receive a complete scenario for conducting an adaptation week, from role distribution to building fundamental motivation and unit cohesion among recruits.

Field Support and Brigade Visits

Format: field visits by mobile psychological teams upon commanders’ request
Locations: combat and rear units, training centers, combat readiness recovery points

Goal: to provide psychological support to personnel on duty; prevent exhaustion and crisis states; assist commanders with motivation, leadership, and unit cohesion; identify service members who need individual assistance.

Work formats:

  • Individual consultations (crisis support, screening)
  • Psychoeducation: “combat stress,” “self-regulation,” “cohesion”
  • Joint work with medical and psychological support units: TRiM, screening, and short prevention protocols
  • On-demand training

Results: reduced tension, improved communication, enhanced combat resilience of units, and strengthened culture of psychological support within the forces.
